Surabaya (beritajatim.com) – Salah satu ajang penghargaan bergengsi Korea Selatan, Gaon Chart Music Awards, telah selesai digelar. Kali ini, ajang penghargaan ke-11 tersebut kembali diadakan secara langsung di Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, Seoul. Dipandu oleh Doyoung NCT, Sieun Stayc, dan penyiar Jaejae, terlihat sejumlah artis dan musisi turut menghadiri acara tersebut.
Pada tahun ini, Gaon Chart Music Awards kembali didominasi oleh boyband BTS yang memenangkan 8 penghargaan. Diantaranya pada kategori Singer of the Year Award, Artist of the Year Award, Retail Album of the Year Award, Long Run Music Award of the Year, Mubeat Global Choice Award, dan Social Hot Star of the Year Award.
Ada juga Cantic yang berhasil membawa pulang 5 piala. Pemenang tahun ini merupakan hasil dari penjurian terhadap penampilan para artis selama Desember 2020 hingga November 2021.
