Secara konsep album ini mengisahkan perjalanan Jackson saat ia menemukan dirinya dalam sebuah realitas alternatif, bekerja di bawah hukum misteri, godaan, dan kebingungan. Album ini juga sebagai simbol dimana Jackson telah menemukan kembali hasrat dari dirinya dalam hal seni.
